Janese Hockman Photography is insured, and licensed by the city of San Luis Obispo, and also approved by SLO County Schools who both require a criminal background check and finger printing. I am also an approved senior portrait photographer for San Luis Obispo High School, Mission College Prep, Arroyo Grande High School, Atascadero High School, Paso Robles High School, and Templeton High School.

I’ve also been featured in a few Senior magazines, won a couple awards and stuff, and have written articles on senior portraits that I’m pretty proud of. Collections

all inclusive collections includes both digital and printed images. I don't believe in handing over a USB/CD/Online gallery and calling it good. I want you to touch and feel and look at your images every day. I believe in printing your images, not letting your USb get lost or collect dust in a drawer somewhere forgotten. Digital only collections include a discount towards prints in your personal online gallery. 

We can go any where we have permission to be, downtown, urban streets, parks, beaches, trails and open fields. The central coast has some of the most beautiful and diverse locations around. I shoot with natural light during the late afternoon and evening sunsets giving you that perfect glow. (Pictured; hwy 46 west, san simeon pier).

Natural Retouching

You will not have overly smoothed plastic baby doll skin texture or over blown highlights after your images are retouched. I believe in pores and freckles. I will not change your eye color to match the flowers or the sky. I will not over sharpen, over contrast, or over saturate your image either. I will polish it, and I will make it look finished. your welcome:)
